Matawalle discovered that once he was asked if he's intimidated by the Federal Government’s declaration of No-Fly-Zone in his state, Zamfara.
“I am able to settle for any resolution that may come back quality security to Zamfara State.
“I am not intimidated in any respect, if i do know that resigning as Zamfara State Governor can build my individuals roll in the hay their 2 eyes closed, I will resign. i'm not power-hungry, i'm committed to participating in no matter that may bring peace to the state, it's been a sleepless night on behalf of me to shield my individuals.”
Major General Babagana Monguno, the National Security advisor had on Tues discovered that President Muhammadu Buhari approved the declaration of “No-Fly-Zone” in Zamfara State as a part of effort to combat security challenges within the state.
Matawalle aforementioned he wasn't consulted by the National Security Council before they declared the order in his state, adding that State of Emergency isn't a similar as “No-Fly-Zone”.
Matawalle aforementioned the order mustn't have an effect on Zamfara State alone since Zamfara isn't the sole northern state with security challenges.
